Innovation: Kashmir Farmers Produce Rare Lavender Honey

Kashmiri farmers have achieved a global rarity by producing lavender honey, typically found only in France and Bulgaria. Priced at Rs. 15,000 per kg, this ‘monofloral honey’ is cultivated under the guidance of young scientist Shahid Rasool, using a special method that aligns bee activity. The initiative is boosting farmers’ income significantly in Kashmir.
