INS Aridhaman: India Commissions Third Nuclear Submarine

India on Friday commissioned its third indigenously built nuclear-powered submarine, INS Aridhaman, after INS Arihant and INS Arighat. Part of the SSBN programme, it strengthens India’s underwater nuclear deterrence. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh attended the Kerala ceremony following months of successful sea trials.
