IIT Kanpur Students Create AI Tool To Combat Fake Health News

Two IIT Kanpur students, Himanshu Pandey and Hamida Syed, developed “Bunk with Kindness,” an AI-powered platform to counter fake health tips shared in WhatsApp groups. Inspired by misleading advice affecting their families, the tool combines facts with empathy to convince people of the truth. It helps refine responses and improves communication to effectively tackle misinformation.
