YouTube Trials New Messaging And Shorts AI Feature

YouTube is testing the return of its direct messaging feature with a small group of users. The platform removed messaging in 2019. Some users can now chat and share videos inside the app again. YouTube is also testing an AI Remix tool for YouTube Shorts, letting creators make new videos from existing clips today during trials.
