DRDO, Navy Test Indigenous Air-Droppable Container For Emergencies

The DRDO and the Indian Navy successfully tested an indigenous Air-Droppable Container, ADC-150, designed to deliver emergency supplies to ships at sea. Four in-flight release trials were conducted from a P-8I aircraft off the Goa coast. The system can carry about 150 kg payload and will help provide rapid logistical and medical support during naval emergencies.
