AP Scientist Ramana Murthy Heads Antarctic Environmental Research Team

Paradani Ramana Murthy, a resident of Alluri Sitaramaraju district in Andhra Pradesh, is leading a team of Indian scientists traveling to Antarctica to study the environment. Murthy hails from Ukkurbha village of Hukumpet mandal and holds a master’s degree from Andhra University. He is currently employed as a scientist at the Indian Geomagnetic Research Centre in Vizag.
