Airtel has launched an AI-powered spam detection solution to combat spam calls and messages, following the Centre’s directive to telecom providers. Gopal Vittal, Airtel’s CEO, announced that the tool can identify 99.5% of spam messages and 97% of spam calls in real time. The service is free for users and operates without needing a special app.
