NASA-ISRO NISAR Satellite Set To Become Fully Operational

ISRO chairman V. Narayanan confirmed that NASA and ISRO are set to declare their first-ever jointly developed NISAR satellite fully operational on Friday. The NASA-ISRO Synthetic Aperture Radar is the most expensive Earth observation satellite ever built. It can monitor nearly all of the planet’s land and ice surfaces twice every 12 days.
