Apple’s iPhone Production Hits $10bn In India, Creating 1.75 Lakh Jobs

Apple’s iPhone production in India reached $10 billion during April-October FY25, with $7 billion in exports. This is a milestone achieved under the government’s PLI scheme. In four years, Apple’s ecosystem has generated 1.75 lakh direct jobs, with over 72% of them filled by women. The company also set an all-time revenue record in India, with operating revenue up 36% in FY24.
