8 Countries Where Indians Can Already Use UPI Payments Abroad

Before Israel joins the network, Indian travellers can already use Unified Payments Interface (UPI) in eight countries — the UAE, Bhutan, France, Nepal, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Mauritius and Qatar — enabling QR‑based payments abroad with familiar apps like Paytm, PhonePe and BHIM. This global expansion makes secure, easier for Indians overseas.
