South Korean To Launch 5th Spy Satellite Today

South Korea was set to launch its 5th homegrown military spy satellite from a US space base today, the defence ministry said, aiming to boost its independent surveillance capabilities against North Korea. The synthetic aperture radar (SAR) satellite is scheduled to lift off around 1 AM Sunday (US time) from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida.
