Researchers have discovered a method called Mic‑E‑Mouse by which high‑precision computer mice detect desk vibrations and eavesdrop on nearby conversations. These vibrations are transformed into intelligible speech (up to 61% accuracy) using AI. The technique raises worrisome privacy risks. To exploit it, attackers need malware access to the system’s raw data.
