AI Teddy Bear Recalled After Safety Concerns

A smart teddy bear from Singapore’s FoloToy was briefly recalled after researchers found its chatbot producing inappropriate responses. The “Kumma” toy, once powered by GPT-4o and now using a Coze chatbot, was flagged by US PIRG for exposing children to harmful content.  OpenAI suspended the developer due to policy violations.
