Japan has released a human washing machine, a pod where a person lies down to be cleaned with soft water jets, foam, massage, and relaxing music. The machine monitors vital signs for safety. Limited to 50 units, it costs about $385,000. Hotels and stores are the first buyers, offering a spa-like, hands-free bathing experience.
