Telangana ranks first in malware detections among Indian states, with 55.90 detections per endpoint, according to the India Cyber Threat Report 2025. Hyderabad is third among cities, with 54.93 detections per endpoint. The report attributes this to the region’s IT hub and strong cybersecurity infrastructure. Tamil Nadu and Delhi follow in state rankings, while Bengaluru leads in city malware detections.
