Major Publishers Sue Anna’s Archive Over Copyright Theft

Leading US publishers, including the Big 5, Hachette, Penguin Random House, HarperCollins, and Simon, along with academic publishers like Pearson and Elsevier, have filed a lawsuit against shadow library search engine Anna’s Archive. They accuse it of illegally copying and distributing millions of copyrighted academic works without permission.
