Floodwater continues to flow into the Sriram Sagar Project, built across the river Godavari in the Nizamabad district of Telangana. 2 crest gates have been lifted to release water downstream. The current inflow to the project is 32,655 cusecs, while the outflow is 13,200 cusecs. The total water storage capacity of the dam is 1091 feet. Its capacity is 90 TMC feet, and it has 42 floodgates.
