Lakshya Sen Finishes 3rd In King Cup International Badminton Open

India’s Lakshya Sen finished third at the inaugural King Cup International Badminton Open. He defeated rising French star Alex Lanier in straight games by 21-17, 21-11. The 23-year-old secured a handsome prize purse of around ₹36 lakh. Lakshya earlier lost in the semifinals to reigning world junior champion Hu Zhe’an of China. He lost by 19-21, 19-21 in a closely contested match on Saturday.
