Polish qualifier Maja Chwalinska continued her French Open 2026 campaign by defeating Diana Shnaider 7-6(4), 6-4 to secure a place in her first Grand Slam final. She will now face Russia’s Mirra Andreeva, who advanced with a 6-1, 6-3 victory over Marta Kostyuk. With this, Chwalinska became only the 2nd qualifier in the Open Era to reach a Grand Slam final.
