Allrounder Venkatesh Iyer was sold to a whopping ₹23.75 crore at the IPL mega auction. KKR and RCB battled it out for him. He was one of KKR’s stars in their run to the title last season. Quick raising of paddles pushed the bid past ₹20 crore. At the end, it touched ₹23.75 crore. RCB dropped out. He was sold to KKR for ₹23.75 crore.
