Former Indian cricketer Aakash Chopra said Shreyas Iyer will not need anyone’s approval as a leader if he wins the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2028 as India captain. Chopra praised Iyer’s IPL captaincy but said he lacked recognition. He believes a World Cup win would completely change how people see his leadership.
