Delhi Capitals have appointed former Ireland all-rounder John Mooney as their fielding coach for IPL 2026, starting March 28. Mooney, 44, is the first Irish cricketer in an IPL coaching role. He previously coached Afghanistan, West Indies, and Ireland women’s teams. Mooney played 64 ODIs and 27 T20Is for Ireland before retiring in 2015.
