French footballer Kylian Mbappe, star striker for France and Paris Saint-Germain, scored twice as the national team defeated Ukraine 4-0 to secure 2026 World Cup qualification. Midfielder Michael Olise and forward Hugo Ekitike added goals in a dominant second half. Mbappe now has 55 international goals, two behind France’s all-time top scorer.
