RR Named Sangakkara As New Head Coach For IPL 2026

Rajasthan Royals have appointed their team director, Kumar Sangakkara, as head coach for IPL 2026. Sangakkara took over the responsibilities after Rahul Dravid stepped down as coach. Sangakkara also served as Rajasthan’s head coach between 2021 and 2024. Under Sangakkara, Rajasthan Royals had played the final in 2022 and reached the playoffs in IPL 2024.
