Shafali Verma To Lead North Zone In Senior IZ T20 Trophy

Shafali Verma, the 21-year-old star who was named Woman of the Match in India’s Women’s ODI World Cup final, has been appointed captain of the North Zone team for the Senior Women”s Inter-Zonal T20 Trophy. The tournament, featuring six teams, will take place in Nagaland from Nov 4 to 14, with teams selected by the BCCI Zonal Selection Committees.
