UDAN Scheme Extended For A Decade To Enhance Air Connectivity

The Indian government has extended the UDAN (Ude Desh Ka Aam Nagrik) scheme for another 10 years to improve air connectivity across the country. Civil Aviation Minister K. Rammohan Naidu celebrated the scheme’s eighth anniversary. Over 601 routes have been established, connecting remote areas and enabling over 14.4 million passengers to fly since its inception.
