Sonam Wangchuk Detained During Ladakh Protest, Demands Sixth Schedule Inclusion

Climate activist Sonam Wangchuk and 20 others were detained by Delhi Police for protesting outside Ladakh Bhawan. Despite claiming they were peacefully sitting, authorities stated they lacked permission for the protest. The group demands Ladakh’s inclusion in the sixth schedule of the Constitution, along with statehood and a public service commission. Wangchuk previously too faced detention.
