Shock To GHMC Commissioner Amrapali: Central Govt Rejects Telangana Cadre Requests

The central govt has dealt a big blow to GHMC Commissioner Amrapali Kata by rejecting the plea of 11 IAS officers, including her, to join the Telangana cadre. All officers have been ordered to report to Andhra Pradesh immediately. These officers had previously applied to the Department of Personnel and Training (DOPT) at the central level to transfer to the Telangana cadre.
