Shinde-led Shiv Sena Halts Appointment Of Gauri Lankesh Murder Accused

The Shiv Sena, led by CM Eknath Shinde, has suspended the appointment of Shrikant Pangarkar, accused in journalist Gauri Lankesh’s 2017 murder, to any party position in Jalna. Pangarkar, recently joined the party, was set to lead the Jalna assembly campaign. The Maharashtra assembly polls are scheduled for November 20, with results on November 23.
