Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has called on U.S. President Joe Biden to release Aafia Siddiqui, who is serving an 86-year prison sentence in the U.S. on terrorism charges. In a letter submitted to an Islamabad court, Sharif urged the Biden administration to compassionately review Siddiqui’s case and grant her release on humanitarian grounds.
