Opposition MPs Write To Om Birla To Take Action On WAQF Bill JPC Chief

Opposition MPs on the Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) on the Waqf Bill wrote to Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, and alleged that panel chief Jagdambika Pal has been making unilateral decisions on key matters. The lawmakers claim Pal, a BJP MP, has been setting consecutive three-day sessions without consulting other committee members. They argue hat it does not allow enough preparation time.
