The Indian government has approved the launch of 52 AI-based spy satellites under the Space Based Surveillance project, with an investment of Rs 27,000 crore. These satellites will enhance India’s geo-intelligence capabilities by allowing communication among them to gather critical data. This initiative follows previous phases initiated in 2001 and 2013 and aims to significantly bolster national security.
