Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah reassured farmers in Vijayapura that no one will be evicted from their lands marked as Waqf properties. He announced the withdrawal of any notices issued to farmers and emphasized that a review will be conducted in Yadgir and Dharwad districts as well. Clarifying recent confusion, officials noted that only 11 acres of a disputed 1,200 are actually Waqf properties.
