Kalyug Has Arrived,’ Says High Court In Elderly Couple’s Alimony Dispute

The Allahabad High Court expressed concern over a legal battle between an elderly couple, aged 75 and 80, for alimony. Hearing Munesh Kumar Gupta’s petition against a family court ruling in favor of his wife, Justice Saurabh Shyam Shamshery remarked that it seemed “kalyug” had arrived. The court issued a notice to the wife, hoping the couple would reach an agreement before the next hearing.
