A ruckus erupted in the newly elected Jammu and Kashmir Assembly during its first session in six years on Monday, as People’s Democratic Party lawmaker Wahid Parra introduced a resolution opposing the scrapping of Article 370. Bharatiya Janata Party lawmakers opposed the move, while Speaker Rahim Rather stated that no resolutions had been officially admitted yet.
