Jaishankar Defends India’s Right To Comment On US Politicians Remarks On India

EAM Jaishankar firmly defended India’s right to respond to remarks made by US politicians regarding Indian democracy. Speaking at Carnegie Endowment for International Peace in Washington, he emphasised that US “should not feel bad” when India responds to comments on its internal affairs. “Foreign interference is foreign interference irrespective of who does it and where it is not,” he said.
