Gujarat BJP MLA Faces Rape & Intimidation Charges After High Court Order

BJP MLA Gajendrasinh Parmar in Gujarat has been charged with rape and criminal intimidation following a Dalit woman’s complaint, prompted by the High Court’s directives. The former minister faces charges under Section 376 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 506, as well as under the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act for an alleged incident from July 2020.
