The Election Commission of India has set a target of seven lakh hearings daily across 6,500 centres in West Bengal to finish claims and objections to the draft voters’ list by February 7. Final rolls will be published February 14. Unmapped and logical discrepancy cases are being heard with two-stage verification before upcoming Assembly elections later this year.
