Former Minister KTR criticized the congress govt for its handling of rice procurement, stating that despite the state’s cuts, Rythubandhu and Rythu remain unreassured. He highlighted that many crops are getting wet due to untimely rains. KTR also claimed that 91.28 lakh tonnes of grain are expected to be collected this season, but as of October 28, only 7,629 tonnes had been procured.
