AP Govt Forms SIT To Tackle Rice Smuggling

The government of Andhra Pradesh has formed a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to investigate rice smuggling in the state. Senior IPS officer Vineet Brijlal has been appointed as the head of the SIT. The team also includes CID SP Uma Maheshwar, DSPs Ashok Vardhan, Govinda Rao, Balasundar, and Rattaiah. CM Chandrababu has granted the team full powers to carry out the investigation.
