Telangana Assembly Speaker Gaddam Prasad Kumar dismissed disqualification petitions against BRS MLAs Pocharam Srinivas Reddy and Kale Yadaiah, ruling there’s no proof they defected to Congress. With this, seven of ten contested MLAs retain their BRS status. The Speaker is yet to decide on remaining cases, following prior Supreme Court directions to resolve the matter.
