EC Likely To Announce Poll Dates For 5 States Soon

The Election Commission is expected to announce the schedule for assembly polls in West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Assam, Kerala, and Puducherry in the second week of March. Officials are currently reviewing preparedness for the 2026 Tamil Nadu Assembly polls. Notably, the state has recorded a higher number of female voters than male voters.
