APCC chief YS Sharmila Reddy condemned the state government’s plan to acquire 20,000 more acres for Amaravati, questioning the use of 54,000 acres acquired over the last decade. She called the proposal unnecessary, unfair to farmers, and beneficial to private interests, demanding a White Paper, transparency, and protection for farmers before any new acquisition.
