CPI(M) Criticizes Ajmer Court Decision, Calls For End To Religious Site Disputes

CPI(M) condemned the Ajmer civil court’s decision to entertain a petition claiming the Ajmer Sharif Dargah was built on a Shiva temple. The party argued this violates the Places of Worship Act (1991) and criticized the violence in Sambhal over a similar issue. It called for the Supreme Court to intervene, stressing the need to prevent such legal disputes over religious sites.
