Investigation Ordered After Alleged Forcible Closure Of Muslim Traders’ Shops At Damoh Fair

Allegations have surfaced that shops belonging to Muslim traders were forcibly shut at the Swadeshi Fair in Damoh, Madhya Pradesh. Traders claimed they were asked to vacate their booths despite paying for them. The incident has prompted Damoh Collector Sudhir Kumar Kochar to order an investigation. However, the organizing committee denied the accusations, attributing the issue to the vendor.
