PM Modi Awarded Nigeria’s Grand Commander Of The Order Of The Niger

Nigeria honored Prime Minister Narendra Modi with the Grand Commander of the Order of the Niger, its second-highest national award, during his visit to the country. Modi is only the second foreign dignitary to receive this honor, following Queen Elizabeth in 1969. He dedicated the award to the people of India and emphasized strengthening ties between India and Nigeria as part of his three-nation tour.
