Dalai Lama congratulated Omar Abdullah on his coalition’s success in the recent Assembly polls and his appointment as CM of Jammu & Kashmir. In his letter, he expressed admiration for Abdullah’s family legacy and wished him success in addressing the challenges ahead. Abdullah, who took oath, initiated a people-friendly approach by instructing police to avoid traffic stoppages during his travels.
