Chronister Rejects Trump’s Offer To Lead Drug Enforcement Administration

Another top U.S. official has turned down an offer from President-elect Donald Trump. Trump had appointed Chronister, the sheriff of Florida, to lead the Drug Enforcement Administration. Trump stated that Chronister would be effective in curbing the flow of narcotics into the U.S. However, Chronister announced that he could not accept the position as he still had important work to complete.
