Former chief minister of Andhra Pradesh Chandrababu Naidu chastised YS Jagan Mohan Reddy for allegedly being ignorant of the problems facing farmers and the agricultural sector.
Naidu demanded immediate help from the YSRCP government for the people affected by Cyclone Michaung. Naidu highlighted that during the TDP rule, repairs to agricultural canals were often made prior to the onset of the rainy season. Chandrababu claimed that there were anomalies in the voter list in his complaint to the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO). He claimed that the draft election rolls contained the names of deceased voters.
