Sanjay Kumar has been removed as ambassador by the central government amid strained relations between India and Canada. Canada accused him of involvement in the murder case of Nijjar. In response, Kumar claimed that Canadian Prime Minister Trudeau is responsible for the deterioration of relations with India, asserting that all allegations made by Canada are entirely politically motivated.
